Specifying and Account for Worklog

Specifying and Account for Worklog

If Jira or WorklogPRO administrators defines accounts, you can select an account when creating a worklog. There are two ways to specify an account for Worklogs:

  • Account Custom Field: This associates an account to an issue so all the worklogs within the issue which doesn’t have worklog level account are assumed to be part of issue level account.

  • Worklog: Overrides worklog selection on issue level if exist.

Since accounts can be project specific, selecting an issue may change applicable account. This association is only enforced when creating/editing a worklog. If you later change applicable projects of an account from account definition screen or move a worklog from one issue to another, existing association between the worklog and the account remains.
