Deleting,Editing and Cloning Worklogs

Work Log Tab Panel

The Work Log Tab Panel is displayed under the issue in every issue view screen. It shows every individual work log for the issue.

  • If you hover over any line in this list, additional Edit and Delete icons will appear on the right side of the corresponding entry.

  • You can click on the pen icon to edit the worklog, or click on the trash icon to delete the worklog.

Bulk Delete

To delete multiple worklogs at once:

  1. Select the desired worklogs.

  2. Click the Delete button at the top of the worklogs list.

 

Work Log Timesheet

  • Clicking on any cell in a timesheet opens a Work Log Details pop-up.

  • This window shows every work log entry for that day, one by one.

  • Hovering over any line displays Edit and Delete icons on the far right of the corresponding line.

  • Using these icons, you can delete or edit a work log entry.

  • Any changes to work logs automatically update the timesheet without a page refresh.

    • For large timesheets, this is a significant time saver.

Work Log Calendar

  • This view shows individual work logs in a calendar view, suitable for entering and modifying work logs.

  • To delete or edit a work log in this view:

    1. Click on the worklog.

    2. The Edit and Delete buttons will appear in the pop-up.

  • Changes to work logs automatically update the calendar view without a page refresh.

Edit Work Log Dialog

  • Editing a worklog is very similar to entering a new worklog.

  • Everything applicable to the New Work Log Dialog is also applicable when editing work logs.

Since the action is editing, at least one field must be changed for the Save button to become active.

Clone Work Log Dialog

  • Cloning a worklog is very similar to creating a new worklog.

  • Everything applicable in the New Worklog Dialog also applies when cloning a worklog. You can modify or keep the date, time, and other fields as needed.

Since the action is cloning, no changes are required for the Save button to be active.

Delete Work Log Dialog

  • In the Delete Worklog Dialog, you need to specify how the remaining estimate will be updated after the previously entered work amount is deleted.

  • There are four modes for the remaining estimate (same as in the Log Work Dialog):

    1. Auto

    2. Set To

    3. Increase By

    4. Use Existing Estimate Of
