Subcomponents Dashboard Item

You can create a high-level status report using the subcomponents gadget. You can add your own JQL queries to the report and the gadget will show issue count distribution over the subcomponent hierarchy. Clicking on the issue count opens "Issue Navigator" which shows the issues themselves. 

There are two different parts of the dashboard. One is the configuration part. On this page you can select the projects you want to see. Under the project selection section, there are various options. You can check the checkboxes like Show Lead Info and Enable semantic sort for versions that you want to see in the view section. You can also add and adjust the JQLs you want to write as you wish.
