Adjusting Issue Estimate When Logging Work

When entering a work log you can also adjust remaining estimate using one of 4 modes.

• Auto: The estimate will be reduced by the amount of work done, but it will never be below 0.

• Use Existing Estimate of : Remaining estimate is kept unchanged as current remaining estimate value of the issue. For example, in the screenshot, the current remanining estimate value of the issue is “7h“. This is shown in the time tracking in the dialog. In this case, the option becomes automatically “Use existing estimate of 7 hours“.

• Set To: Allows you to freely specify a new remaining estimate.

• Reduce By: Remaining estimate is reduced by the specified value.
