Configurations for Analytics App for Jira

The configurations for Analytics cloud app can be reached from the section 'apps' of Atlassian settings. Those configurations are affected by the required permissions.

Track Comments | Enable/disable tracking comments of an issue |
Track Anonymous Users | Enable/disable anonymous users to see analytics |
Restricts groups that can view analytics | Enter a user group that can view the Analytics. |
Excluded User Groups | Enter a user group that will be excluded from the Analytics. The number of views, updates and comments made by users in these groups are not counted. |
Excluded Projects | Enter a project that will be excluded from the Analytics. The number of views, updates and comments on this project are not counted. |
Permissions
The ‘Analytics' cloud app for Jira must have the ‘Browse Project' setting in the project settings to reach projects on Jira. This permission is granted to the application by selecting Statistics in the single user section. Also, users who are going to use 'Analytics' app need to have 'Browse users and groups’ setting in the global settings of Jira to be able to view user's names.
