Pomodoro
What is the Pomodoro Technique?
The Pomodoro technique is a time management method designed to enhance focus and productivity. By breaking your work into short, timed intervals spaced out by brief breaks, you can maintain high concentration levels and reduce mental fatigue.
A standard Pomodoro cycle consists of two parts:
A 25-minute session of focused work.
A short 5-minute break.
Together, these combine to form one complete "Pomodoro session."
Note: These default durations are flexible. You can customize both work and break intervals to suit your workflow on the Settings page.

Here are some key rules and features regarding how Pomodoro sessions work within the application:
Single Active Session Rule: You cannot have more than one Pomodoro session active at the same time. If you attempt to start a new Pomodoro while another is already running, the currently active session will be automatically marked as "skipped."
Visual Cues on the Kanban Board: The card for the currently active Pomodoro task is color-coded on the Kanban board for easy identification:
Green Card: Indicates that the task is in an active work session.
Blue Card: Indicates that the task is in the break phase.
Defining a "Completed" Session: For a Pomodoro session to be counted as "completed," the primary work timer must run its full duration without being skipped.
If you finish the work timer and then choose to skip the subsequent break, the overall Pomodoro session is still counted as completed.
If you skip the work timer itself, the session is counted as skipped.
Note: The break timer does not start automatically. You must manually click start when you are ready to begin your break.
