Actions
The Inbox serves as a temporary holding area for unprocessed items. In contrast, the Actions page is the central hub for managing structured and organized work. It functions as the primary interface for executing your daily workflow.
After processing Jira work items and private tasks from the inbox through action assignment, they appear here in their designated columns.
The Actions page is designed as a Kanban Board, allowing you to manage your work visually. Your tasks are categorized into vertical columns based on their current action.
Actions:
Next Action: These are tasks that you can do right now, with no obstacles in your way. This is the first column you should look at when you are ready to work. These items are your immediate "to-do list."
Scheduled: Tasks that need to be done on a specific date or have a deadline. This column shows work tied to your calendar. A work item with the action scheduled cannot have a time context.
Waiting For: Tasks that you cannot complete right now because you are waiting for input, approval, or an action from someone else. The ball is in someone else's court.
Someday/Maybe: Ideas or projects that are not urgent right now but you might want to do in the future. This is a repository for ideas without cluttering your active task list.
Done: Tasks you have successfully completed. This is a record of your accomplishments. A work item with the action done cannot have a time context and matrix. By default, work items with the action "Done" are automatically archived after 2 weeks. You can customize this time period in the Settings page.
In addition to the "Getting Things Done" methodology, our application includes an integrated Pomodoro timer to maximize your focus during work sessions and manage mental fatigue.
The Pomodoro technique is a time management method that encourages working in short, focused intervals (typically 25 minutes of work, followed by a 5-minute short break).
