Component Attributes

Component attributes allow you to attach extra information to Jira Components. They are very similar to Issue Custom fields, but for components instead of issues. First you need to define which component attributes are available. This requires Jira administrator privilege. To manage them, navigate to “Manage apps/Configuration Management Toolkit/Component Attributes.”

After defining available component attributes, you can associate these attributes to components from the project page.
