There are some configuration for issue reminder cloud appYou can configure some options for “Issue Reminder Cloud App”. You can reach them from the section 'apps' of Atlassian settings. Those configuration is affected by the required permissionsusing “Manage apps” section. To configure the app you need to be Jira Administrator.
The periodic reminders can skip not only just Saturday or Sunday but also the entire weekend by choosing two options.
Groups that can create reminders can be restricted. Only ones that is specified here can create reminders. Similarly, groups that view reminder can also be determined.

Authorization of Slack
To authorize slack application for issue reminder, first ‘Allow reminders in Slack channels' check box must be selected, then 'Configure Slack Access’ is needed to be clicked.
Then, click 'Allow' button on the opening page to give permission to access the slack workspace after selecting the slack workspace to apply in Issue Reminders.

On the page that opens after giving permission, you will see the text “Everything is ok. Return to Jira“. After clicking on this text, the authorization of the slack application will be completed and the page will direct you to the “Reminders App Configuration” page.
If you want to deauthorize the slack application, it is enough to click the “De-Authorize Slack Integration” buttonDisable sending reminders to groups: If this option is not checked, users can’t create reminders to notify Jira user groups.
Disable sending reminders to other users: If this option is checked, user can only send reminder to themselves.
Skip Sunday for periodic reminders: If you create a dailly reminder, and select this option, reminder will not be repeated for Sunady.
Skip Saturday for periodic reminders: If you create a dailly reminder, and select this option, reminder will not be repeated for Sunady.
Allow reminder creation from portal: If you enable this option, service desk agents can create reminders from portal view.
Allow customers to create reminders from portal: TTo effectively utilize this feature, ensure you give “Browse Projects” permission to 'Service Desk Customers'/'Service Project Customers' roles. Without this step, customers will not have access to Issue Reminders within the portal for that specific project.
Restrict groups that can view reminders: If you select any group, only the users in these groups can view reminders. This doesn’t limit who can be notified by reminders.
Restrict groups that can create reminders: If you select any group, only the users in these groups can create reminders.
